The Cairn Terrier is a small and hardy dog. It can weigh between 13 to 14 pounds and grow to a height of about 10 inches. As with most small dogs, they are active and friendly with people. Compared to most other types of terriers, the Cairn Terrier is considered one of more mellow terrier breeds.
It is a good family dog that will play well with children. It gets along with other animals and children.
