Border Collie was originally used as a herding and companion dog. It’s a medium size dog that is muscular and agile. Because of this, the Border Collie has gained popularity in canine sports. It’s a really energetic dog that needs a lot of exercise. It gets along with with family but can seem a bit reserved with strangers.
Because of it’s herding history, you might experience the Border Collie trying to “herd” children around if there is a group of them.
